The Blues Festival

This year's Festival reviews are on the editorial page, here. Next year's Festival will be held on the 23-25 of June, and early bird tickets will be available for a limited time starting on the 1st of January.

Advanced ticket sales have been extended to September 6th! Check their website for more info.

After a couple of years reorganizing and making changes, the event that used to be known as the Minnesota Rock&Country Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony is back..with a new name and a new location. I've been to a couple of these, and it is well and truly a party..with some of the legends of music in Minnesota attending, being inducted, and playing. As you can see above, the new name is The Mid-America Music Hall of Fame, and the location for the ceremony this year will move from the old digs at the Medina Ballroom to the Sheraton Bloomington on September 16,17,and 18th. They are in the process of building a new website here, and are on facebook (naturally) here.
